La Chapitre Québec-Ontario a récemment organisé une fantastique activité de lancer de hache au BATL Ottawa (2615, chemin Lancaster), réunissant 25 participants enthousiastes pour une apres-midi de plaisir, de compétition et de réseautage. L’événement a eu lieu le 29 mai 2025.

L’événement a accueilli un grand nombre de membres et de non-membres de l’IIBEC, y compris des consultants, des entrepreneurs et un large éventail de professionnels de l’industrie. Pendant deux heures bien remplies, les participants se sont affrontés dans un tournoi à la ronde qui s’est mené à une excitante confrontation en séries éliminatoires.

Des entraîneurs experts étaient sur place pour assurer la sécurité et enseigner les bonnes techniques de lancer, aidant tout le monde à se sentir en confiance et engagé. D’excellents plats et boissons ont ajouté à l’atmosphère animée, ce qui a rendu cette soirée mémorable de camaraderie et de connexion. Merci à tous ceux qui sont venus et ont fait de l’événement un tel succès !

The Quebec Ontario Chapter recently held a fantastic axe-throwing social at BATL Ottawa (2615 Lancaster Road), bringing together 25 enthusiastic participants for an afternoon of fun, competition, and networking. The event was held on May 29, 2025.

The event welcomed a great mix of IIBEC members and non-members, including consultants, contractors, and a wide range of industry professionals. Over the course of two action-packed hours, attendees competed in a round-robin style tournament that led into an exciting playoff showdown.

Expert coaches were on hand to ensure safety and teach proper throwing techniques, helping everyone feel confident and engaged. Great food and drinks added to the lively atmosphere, making for a memorable night of camaraderie and connection.

Le Chapitre Québec Ontario de l’IIBEC a tenu son assemblée générale annuelle (AGA) ainsi qu’un tournoi de golf intérieur au Silverwood Golf and Lounge le 20 février, marquant un autre rassemblement réussi pour les professionnels de l’industrie.

L’événement a commencé par une AGA engageante, au cours de laquelle les membres du conseil d’administration ont discuté des progrès de la section, des initiatives à venir et des développements de l’industrie. Après la réunion, les participants ont profité d’un délicieux buffet de lunch, offrant une occasion parfaite de se connecter et de réseauter dans un cadre détendu.

Le point culminant de la journée a été le tournoi de golf intérieur, où les participants ont montré leurs habiletés dans une atmosphère amicale mais compétitive. Le Silverwood Golf and Lounge s’est avéré être un excellent endroit, offrant une expérience de golf à la fine pointe de la technologie et une ambiance accueillante. Un gros merci au personnel courtois et attentionné de Silverwood, qui a assuré un événement fluide et agréable pour tous.

The IIBEC Quebec Ontario Chapter held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Indoor Golf Tournament at Silverwood Golf and Lounge on February 20^th, marking another successful gathering for industry professionals.

The event began with an engaging AGM, where board members discussed the chapter’s progress, upcoming initiatives, and industry developments. Following the meeting, attendees enjoyed a delicious lunch buffet, providing a perfect opportunity to connect and network in a relaxed setting.

The highlight of the day was the indoor golf tournament, where participants showcased their skills in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere. Silverwood Golf and Lounge proved to be an excellent venue, offering a state-of-the-art golf experience and a welcoming ambiance. A special thank you goes to the courteous and attentive Silverwood staff, who ensured a seamless and enjoyable event for all.

Tenue à la Brasserie de la rue Mill à Ottawa, la soirée a réuni près de 60 participants pour une célébration festive. Les invités ont profité d’une atmosphère vibrante remplie de nourriture délicieuse, de boissons rafraîchissantes et de conversations animées. Ajoutant au plaisir, un photomaton était disponible toute la nuit, capturant des souvenirs joyeux et des joies de fêtes !

Held at the Mill Street Brewery in Ottawa, the evening brought together close to 60 attendees for a festive celebration. Guests enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and lively conversations. Adding to the fun, a photo booth was available throughout the night, capturing joyful memories and holiday cheer!

Le rassemblement a vu la participation enthousiaste de 24 participants enthousiastes. The Quebec Ontario Chapter recently hosted a tremendously successful axe-throwing social event at BATL Ottawa, situated at 2615 Lancaster Road. Le Chapitre Québec Ontario (QOC) de l’IIBEC a tenu une assemblée générale annuelle hybride 2024 très réussie, suivie d’un Bonspiel au Nepean Sportsplex à Ottawa.

L’AGA a réuni près de 20 membres du CQO.

Lors de l’AGA, le conseil d’administration du chapitre a remis le Prix de reconnaissance du président à Michel Paulin, pour son mandat 2022-2023 à titre de président du chapitre.

L’AGA a été suivie d’un tournoi de curling, où environ 40 participants ont participé à un tournoi amical. Félicitations aux gagnants de l’événement – Atlas-Apex… qui ont reçu 4 cartes-cadeaux LCBO de 50 $.

The Quebec Ontario Chapter (QOC) of IIBEC had a very successful hybrid 2024 Annual General Meeting followed by a Bonspiel at the Nepean Sportsplex in Ottawa.

The AGM was well attended by close to 20 QOC members.

During the AGM, the Chapter board presented the President Recognition Award to Michel Paulin, for his 2022-2023 term as Chapter President.

The AGM was followed by a curling Bonspiel, where approximately 40 attendees enjoyed a friendly tournament. Congratulations to the event winners – Atlas-Apex…who received 4x$50 LCBO gift cards.
